We are in the final stretch called Ikvisa Dimeshicha. It means we are at the period immediately preceding the year 6000. Darkness is felt outside, but that signifies how close Moshiach really is.

The closer we get, the heavier it feels. Our regular strength is not enough. A deeper power awakens combatting our perceived emptiness – to light one more candle, give one more coin, do one more mitzvah – and bring Moshiach.
